Commercial pressure washing

Building exteriors, sidewalks, dumpster pads and parking structures pressure washed across Houston, with runoff recovered rather than pushed into the storm drain.

Pressure washing is the service where containment matters most and gets ignored most. A crew washing a dumpster pad is moving grease, food waste and detergent across concrete that drains to a storm inlet — and in Houston that inlet goes to a bayou, not a treatment plant. The wash is a five-figure problem dressed up as a $400 job.

A1 Mobil runs the same containment and recovery process on flatwork that it runs on fleet vehicles. The water is captured and leaves with the crew.

Surfaces and sites

  • Building exteriors, awnings, soffits and entryways
  • Sidewalks, entry aprons and pedestrian concrete
  • Dumpster pads and grease-corral enclosures
  • Drive-throughs, loading docks and truck aprons
  • Parking garages and structured parking decks
  • Warehouse floors, shop bays and equipment pads
  • Fuel islands and wash pads

Hot water where it earns its keep

Cold water moves dirt. Hot water breaks the bond on anything petroleum-based, which is the difference between a dumpster pad that looks wet and one that is actually clean. Grease, hydraulic oil, diesel spotting and the black film under a drive-through window need heat and the right surfactant; concrete that is merely dusty does not, and paying for heat there is waste. The crew brings both.

Surface cleaners — the rotating enclosed heads — are used on open flatwork because they hold a consistent standoff distance and leave no wand stripes. Detail wands handle edges, curbs and anything vertical.

Property managers and facilities teams

Recurring exterior maintenance is easier to defend in a budget than an emergency clean-up before a site visit. Quarterly or semi-annual programs cover the pads, walkways and entries that decide what a property looks like from the parking lot, on a schedule that does not need a work order each time.

A1 Mobil is the mobile fleet cleaning arm of The Holdings Group; the group's facilities services business handles the broader building-maintenance scope for properties that need more than exterior cleaning.
